About this ebook

Now a major motion picture, Stephen King's brilliant and terrifying story of a marriage with truly deadly secrets.

Darcy Anderson’s husband of more than twenty years is away on one of his routine business trips when the unsuspecting Darcy looks for batteries in the garage. Her toe knocks up against a hidden box under a worktable and in it she discovers a trove of horrific evidence that her husband is two men—one, the benign father of her children, the other, a raging rapist and murderer. It’s a horrifying discovery, rendered with bristling intensity, and it definitively ends “A Good Marriage.”

This story was originally published in Stephen King’s acclaimed collection, Full Dark, No Stars.

I liked A Good Marriage better, than the bonus story 1922, because I thought it was more scarier and gorier and darker than. A Good Marriage I thought this one would be the same way and it wasn’t, only read these 2 book him so far!!

100 page e-book that was not worth it for the price. I expected way more from such an acclaimed storyteller such as Mr.King. this story was a very bland a+b plot that I found no suspense or horror in. This book took me less than a day to start and finish and the bonus story at the end was half the length of the book I paid for. To call this book a let down would be a gross understatement. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Time.

I had read the sample for A Good Marriage and became quickly invested prior to purchasing the book. I was surprised when I found out that story was rather short so the ending felt a little abrupt. I thought I would still have another half of a book when 1922 started. I knew 1922 was included but thought it might be more of a short story at the end. Both were very good stories. The seemingly abrupt ending of A Good Marriage threw me off a little and I actually enjoyed the story of 1922 much more.
