About this ebook

Sometimes love happens when you least expect it…

She's loved him for years...

Charlotte Grant can't remember a time when she didn't love her best friend's older brother.

He's never noticed her...

The Duke of Clarington hadn't spared a thought for his sister's friend in years.

Their situations are about to be reversed...

It is the beginning of a new Season and Clarington intends to stay away from all the young ladies and eager mamas hoping to ensnare a duke. But that plan falls into tatters when his mother sponsors his sister's friend and enlists him to dance with her at Almack's. The beautiful vixen he meets that night bears little resemblance to the shy, gangly girl who used to follow him around. Now, instead of avoiding Charlotte, he finds himself frustrated when she seems to notice everyone but him.

DANCING WITH THE DUKE is a standalone prequel novella to the LANDING A LORD a Lord series.

Charlotte Grant can’t remember a time when she didn’t love her best friend Lucy’s older brother. Alexander Thompson, The Duke of Clarington hadn’t spared a thought for his sister’s friend in years. It is the beginning of a new Season and Clarington intends to stay away from all the young ladies and eager mamas hoping to ensnare a duke. But that plan falls into tatters when his mother sponsors his sister’s friend and enlists him to dance with her at Almack’s. The beautiful red haired vixen he meets that night bears little resemblance to the shy, gangly girl who used to follow him around. Now, instead of avoiding Charlotte, he finds himself frustrated when she seems to notice everyone but him A charming novella that I read in one sitting, the characters have depth & the story flowed well plus it introduced me to some of the characters in the rest of the series. It sparled my interest enough for me to now read the rest of the series

Although it was only 36 pages NOT 44, I did enjoy it even though the story line has been done to death. This author is good at spinning a yarn but should at least try to write something original.

No backstory to characters and no tormented heroes one would expect from such novels. Charlotte is pretty good but all that is wasted against a much obliging partner.

About the author

Suzanna Medeiros was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Her love for the written word led her to pursue a degree in English Literature from the University of Toronto. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Education degree, but graduated at a time when no teaching jobs were available. After working at a number of interesting places, including a federal inquiry, a youth probation office, and the Office of the Fire Marshal of Ontario, she decided to pursue her first love - writing.

Suzanna is married to her own hero and is the proud mother of twin daughters. She is an avowed romantic who enjoys spending her days writing love stories.

She would like to thank her parents for showing her that "love at first" sight and "happily ever after" really do exist.
