I want to write like this one day. This author created something beyond belief of an average fantasy romance. A sensual effect for passion that lies in an era exceeded by lust & love conflicted. I for one probably am in love with it for all the wrong reasons, which makes it that much more intriguing. There is always something more authors are attempting to convey when painting a portrait like such with beauties of words. Job well done thus far I'm certainly moving on for a bit more.

This was my first sci-fi booked and I loved it. I enjoy reading Anna Zaire books with the exception of "Twist me series"... the female character was too young for me to get into it without feeling perverted. With this book Mia was older and had already experience life a little before being encountered by Korum. Overall I enjoyed it and look forward to the next book.

Within the plot it was a decent and imaginative read. I just wished I'd read that it was an erotic novel before purchasing. Very disturbing, unrealistic and repetitive in the erotic sense. But then I'm a prude and I'm sure for an erotic novel lover, this was great, very descriptive. Too descriptive for me. I like fairy tales that have wonderful, magical kisses. Not the sex stuff. Really cringe at that stuff. I'm sorry, well written, good plot, but repetitive sex has put me off and I hate rape.

About the author

 Anna Zaires fell in love with books at the age of five, when her grandmother taught her to read. She wrote her first story shortly thereafter. Since then, she has always lived partially in a fantasy world where the only limits were those of her imagination. Currently residing in Florida, Anna is happily married to the man of her dreams and closely collaborates with him in the writing of the Krinar Chronicles.
