About this ebook

When a disastrous date starts stalking her, Alethea's friends team up to help her summon a demon protector. She never expected the ancient spell to actually work. Or that the protector they summoned would be hotter than any man alive.

Stanley Steel definitely remembers dying. What he can't work out is why he's been woken up to serve as the bodyguard to a woman who's the spitting image to the one who killed him.

He's supposed to be protecting her from a stalker, but what if the real danger is him?

Demelza Carlton's books are novellas and way too short. I always hope "this one must be longer" but, unfortunately they never are. Such a pity as the stories are really good and unique. This time I won't pay for the next book in the series as I know that I'll be disappointed. I have bought follow up books in series and never thought they deserve the price eg one 2nd in series cost over £4 GBP and was over 40 chapters but they were less than 4 pages per chapter! Demelza's free books only for me from now on! Sorry, but they are too expensive. 4 stars only for that reason.

Excellent story. I liked the way it started. It gave back ground starting with Stan. How he became cursed along with his cousins. Then cut away to the present with Alethea. I enjoyed it very much.

Amazing book! I very much liked how the brothers from The Heart of Stone Series were introduced into the Steel Series, the part with Ben made me love him even more. I honestly felt bad for Stan trying to learn and adapt to the new time he found himself awake in, but also found joy in the way Alethia helped him and educated him. The lead in for the rest of the series gives you a lot to look forward to and I cant wait.
