About this ebook

Logan heads to Boston on an intelligence reconnaissance mission for Legendary Securities. His investigation plunges him--and the inadvertent partner he picks up along the way--into the dark, chilling world of human trafficking.

The last thing Alina remembers was having coffee at the hospital cafe where she's employed. Awakening in a strange apartment, she finds herself tied up. Until Logan appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, and rescued her, she'd feared life as she'd known it was over.

The traffickers have a quota and letting even one potential moneymaker go isn't in the cards. Alina is far from the only victim. On the run together, Logan and Alina race against time, no longer certain who's the hunted and who's the prey in the sordid, heartbreaking underworld they've descended into.

I loved this book. It was another great book in the series of ex-Navy SEALs that are now part of Legendary Security or as the Woman refer to it as Heroes for Hire. Logan and Harrison go on assignment to gather information on 4 people suspected of human trafficking. At their second stop, they hear crying and enter the room to find Alina tied to the bed. Logan's protective instincts kick in, although he tells himself he can't leave Alina while she's in danger, Harrison knows that Logan will be the next to fall. Whenever Alina was away from Logan (even if was a ride to the hospital with a friend) I was afraid that Alina would be taken again. I was surprised when we found out who the bad guys were, but I wasn't surprised that Alina and Logan were going to be together back in Texas.

Daily knows how to tell a story and not just put print to paper. I love all the seals adventures. Their nail biting edge of your seat with a surprise. I listen while I drive getting ready for work and before bed. I go through them All. I love the way she has the series complet so I don't have to wait. Love them thanks.

Love this book, sadly too many in the world believe human trafficking doesn't exist but the reality is that it does. So if you can educate and provide a Wonderful story then all the better.

About the author

Dale Mayer is a USA Today bestselling author who writes for the young, the old and those in-between – no matter what the age. Some of her books are hot, some are sweet. Some will keep you up at night with a light on to keep the boogie man away and some you’ll want to cuddle close.

She’s long given up on trying to fit a specific genre. Instead she honors the stories that come to her – and some of them are crazy, break all the rules and cross multiple genres!

And that’s okay too.

There is one guarantee with each book – it will be a great read – each and every time
