The job lands Dix in the middle of a murder investigation – with her as the prime suspect and her arch-enemy Detective Richard Head (a.k.a., Dickhead, one of the cheating husbands she’d nailed) gunning for her. Dix will need all her ingenuity, as well as the help of Dylan and her oddball cast of supporters to extricate herself from this one. 

Ratings and reviews

It started off delightfully funny but just when the plot thickened, around chapter 4, all the bad language started coming out. Plenty of F words and others. I also didn't care for the amount of hatred and anger between Dix and Det. Head. It might of gotten better but I stopped reading after chapter 4.

filth, bad language, and an angry cynical main character does not equate to humor.

I think this book will be good to read as if you wear a teenager
