Lachlan is off to Germany to learn about computer software. Leah will be teaching him how to use the software, but then she becomes a target, and it's up to Lachlan to keep her safe. Kidnappings that aren't the usual type, with ransom demands that are life and death. Leah is brilliant at her job, but who can she trust.. Everyone is a suspect until Lachlan can clear them. Lachlan certainly has his hands full, racing to keep ahead of the danger. Twists and turns that keep you guessing.. What a great read!. Entertaining read with our men of honor. Travel a slightly different road with banking, kidnapping in the global world. Lachlan is our main seal and he, with Alex and Marcus are there to assist Leah in this endeavor. Since this is not only happening in Germany but in the UK Jonas is present. It was a nice change getting to see the rapport between Jonas and the guys, not just the usual trash talking. Leah is doing her best to help solve this situation and people in her job are not taking her seriously enough. The ending had a twist, I knew the bad guy, or a bad guy and as causal Dale stirs it up. Thank you for the arc, I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions.
Lachlan is one of the books in the SEALs of Honor Series. Mason needs to send a team to Germany to be part of a joint task force trying to find the people responsible for hacking into a series of banks, kidnapping, and then murdering bank CEOs when ransom demands are not met. Mason’s wife Tesla thinks Lachlan is perfect for this mission since he would make a great match for her friend Leah who is her counterpart in Germany. Leah goes to the airport to pick up Lachlan. They meet up with Markus and Axel also from Mason’s team, and Jonas an MI6 agent who is part of the task force. Mason’s team has worked with Jonas in the past and this leads to some lighthearted banter. The action starts right when they leave the airport and doesn’t stop until the end of the book. They are followed leaving the airport and bullets fly. When Leah is alone, the safehouse is attacked, but Lachlan arrives just in time to take the kidnappers out. I enjoyed reading this book and was surprised by the ending. Lachlan saves the day and Leah and Lachlan have their HEA. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
