Alexa Darin

Alexa Darin grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where she spent her adolescence dreaming of the day she would marry the boy next door. But as so often happens in life, plans change. The boy moved away, and Alexa moved on to thinking about more practical ways to fill her time. She would become a cardio-thoracic surgeon and use her skills and training to repair damaged hearts. But when that dream also became derailed, she decided to pursue romance writing. Which has turned out to be a fine alternative because she now has more leisure time to do all kinds of fun things...like hiking in the Alpine Wilderness, or playing doorman to a couple of opinionated Labrador retrievers. She believes every romance writer should keep a survival kit that contains plenty of dark chocolate, a good supply of red wine, and a large selection of Barry White music.
