It's the song that brings ultimate hope to so many…often in the midst of life's most challenging moments. Amazingly, the song was written by MercyMe lead singer Bart Millard. In reality, those lyrics took a lifetime to craft. Although he found faith at a young age, life wasn't easy for Bart. He leaned into an active imagination and his love of music as escapes from a troubled home life. As he grew older, Bart turned to football in hopes of somehow connecting with his abusive father. But a career-ending injury-combined with the vision of a teacher who saw unlimited potential-set Bart on a musical pathway. Chasing a dream with running from broken relationships with his father and Shannon, his childhood sweetheart, Bart hits the road in an old, decrepit tour bus with his new band MercyMe-named for his grandmother's favorite expression. With the guidance of a grizzled music-industry insider, the band begins a journey none of them could ever have imagined. A gripping reminder of the power of forgiveness, I Can Only Imagine, beautifully illustrates that no one is ever too far from God's love-or from an eternal home in Heaven.

Following a devastating loss, Nadine (Dree Hemingway, ‘Starlet’) and Lewis (Lakeith Stanfield, ‘Atlanta’) retreat to a small Bahamian island where Nadine's family has kept a house for many years. As they try to heal and move forward with their relationship, the community on the island shows signs of unraveling -- with the island's mayor, Roy (Robert Wisdom, ‘The Wire’), squaring off against Doughboy (Leonard Earl Howze, 'Kevin Can Wait'), a human trafficker who manipulates the impressionable homeless teenager Myron (Sam Dillon, 'Boyhood') into assisting with his smuggling operation. Director Logan Sandler keeps an impressively keen grip on the tone of his debut feature, which is suspenseful and poignant in equal measures, all the while maintaining a sharp focus on the small details of everyday life in the Bahamas.
John Travolta, James Gandolfini, Salma Hayek, Jared Leto and Laura Dern star in this crime-thriller, based on a true story. Two homicide detectives track down Martha Beck and Raymond Martinez Fernandez, a murderous pair known as the "Lonely Hearts Killers" who lured their victims through personal ads in newspapers. Martha Beck (Hayek) and Raymond Fernandez (Leto) were America's notorious "Lonely Hearts Killers." Their lethal scam was simple; they would swindle and then viciously murder lovelorn war widows who would answer their personal ads in which Ray would describe himself as a sexy Latin Lover. Ironically, Ray's initial introduction to Martha was as a prospective mark. But when they met, it was love at first sight, perhaps as a result of their penchant for kinky sex and their mutual love for duplicity and easy money. With Martha posing as Ray's sister, they bilked elderly spinsters and widows of their savings and then viciously murdered them in a bloodbath of sexual frenzy. When they were arrested, Martha and Ray confessed to 12 killings, although it is believed the actual number is closer to 20. At their sensational trial, Martha and Ray cooed, held hands and seemed as though they could not get enough of each other. Their plea of not guilty by reason of insanity was rejected, and on August 22, 1949, the homicidal lovers were sentenced to death. After numerous appeals, they were electrocuted on March 8, 1951, side-by-side in Sing Sing prison. © 2006 Equity Pictures Medienfonds GmbH & Co. KG III. All Rights Reserved.
