Silent Hill is a poor adaption of the 1999 survival horror video game of the same name. The film barrows heavily from the first two games using their music, monsters, and the outline of the first game's story of a parent looking for their daughter in a tainted town. Oddly though the film has nearly nothing to do with said games with an almost completely original story. Judging it on its own though this is a decent horror film with some interesting visuals, but has some mixed acting and a convoluted story.

Could have been better in my opinion, but ultimately pretty good considering most game-to-film adaptions. I think they really need a reboot with a more solid writer/director combo. David Fincher would be an interesting guy to take the reigns...

Lame movie adaptation of a classic horror game. Ya know, it just don't have the same feeling. Still damn scary though, got me on edge that night. Still love em pyramids.
