Jess (Eliza Dushku) and her friends find their camping plans are challenged when they drive into a barbed-wire trap. Chris is taking a back road short-cut when he literally runs into the group, further damaging their vehicle as well as his own. Now stranded, they team up. At first it's just to find some help - but when they stumble upon a cabin in the wilderness filled with murdered and mutilated travellers, and then a group of gruesome mountain men - it's to find a way to survive.
