I watch PotC for two things, Jack Sparrow and the PotC universe. If you don't like those two things, the movie isn't worth watching. It's entertaining and okay. The actors playing Carina and Henry didn't sell me on their acting. It was average, which is not good enough for main characters. The story felt a bit flat too, I wish there was more intrigue behind the Trident.

Same old, same old. The writers seem to be writing the same story over and over again with new actors. There were plenty of plot holes that could have been plugged with common sense, and there was an abominable lack of originality. Not a bad movie - it keeps the majority of your attention while it's playing, but it's not something I'd want to re-watch.

At some points, it was so comically terrible and predictable it was worth a laugh. Otherwise, miserably regurgitated content, awful storyline, terrible character development. The preceding films were undone and characters deconstructed by this dumpster fire. At least the end mercifully (though presented in the corniest, most predictable way possible) played out as quickly as possible. Wow...this thing was bad.
