An adventurous oung couple celebrate their honeymoon by backpacking to one of the most beautiful and remote places in Hawaii. Cliff (Steve Zahn, Rescue Dawn) and Cydney ( Milla Jovovich, Resident Evil) hike the wild, secluded trails believing they've found absolute paradise. But paradise suddenly becomes a hell on earth when they learn of the horrifying murder of another newlywed couple on the island. Unsure whether to stay or flee, Cliff and Cydney join up with two other couples --- Nick (Timothy Olyphant, Die Hard 4) & Gina (Kiele Sanchez, TV's Lost) and Kale (Chris Hemsworth, Star Trek) & Cleo (Marley Shelton, W.) -- and things begin to go terrifyingly wrong. Far from civilisation or rescue, everyone begins to look like a threat and nobody knows whom to trust. I knew nothing about this film going in - apart from a positive mention on a list of "Horror Films You Haven't Heard Of" I came across online. (It's not a horror film.) Cast is solid, as is characterisation, and the story unfolds with a sense of fun and mystery that makes the bloody confrontation - when it happens - a fight you'll have a stake in. Worth a fiver for the HD hire.

Well worth a watch. Lots of twists, lots of turns. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
