Filme é legal, efeitos bacanas, sons bem feitos. a história é rasa, desenvolvimento dos personagens foi superficial. É um filme divertido pra passar um tempo, principalmente pra quem não leu os livros. Não é um filme memorável ou uma grande obra de arte, mas não é ruim ou um lixo como muitos dizem. Ele tem cliches sim, não é muito inovador como filme. Se você leu os livros e eu li, o filme é bem decepcionante, pelo que poderia ter sido, ignoraram tanto material bom que podia ser explorado e desenvolvido com tempo. Uma pena o desperdício

You know how some fans of books or comics ALWAYS complain about movie adaptations online? Well, no one can do that in this case! See, for complaints to exist regarding a movie adaptation, there must be a movie. This thing seems more like a 90 minute gif about a meme you do not know and including references to a 3-year-old's dreams. It's not that it fails to depict the story told in the Dark Tower series of books, even though it absolutely does fail at that as well (there's another protagonist, the plot does not involve the tower that names the freaking movie, the gunslinging is just sad, and literally every character has a different motivation and role within the attempted story). It fails at telling any story, about any subject, and instead just gives the kid who plays Jake waaaaaay too much focus and displays slightly-less-orange-than-in-Interstellar-Mathew-Mcconaughey playing a character which has rigorously nothing in common with its literary counterpart. I wasn't expecting to like this, skeptical as I am about turning 7 books and about 5000 pages of intense storytelling into an hour and a half of a guy with a pistol and his buddies hunting The Man in Jaundice. But I honestly was at a loss for words when the video was over, it is so shockingly terrible. My advice? Watch it for the laughs with some friends and avoid punching the TV at all times. Alcohol could help.

One of the best Fiction movies I've seen these days. Visual effects are great, sound effects will cause huge impact on the movie perception. You must watch with DOLBY DIGITAL PLUS! Good history !
