The special effects were good, I just felt like they worked more on the dog than the story. I mean, don't get me wrong it's was good, except for some parts. But I just feel like the important parts they total skipped over. And the least important parts they dragged on. But other than that it was ok. 🙂

Very good story line, great special effects, and very good acting. I have watched this movie 4 times with my grandchildren and catch something new each time. We enjoy it immensely and will continue to watch. Feel good family movie and we fell in love with the robot dog. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

AXL is like another Short Circuit or Chappie movie except it's about a canine. Basically, it's man's best "robot" friend. For the parents, it may have a tiny bit of violence in it, but it's not really that bad though. It's probably as violent as Bumblebee, which wasn't that violent. Good movie!
