Crideas Bane
Astonishing how intellectually dishonest the critic reviews of this film are - simultaneously accusing the director of re-writing History to serve his purpose, while they completely misrepresent the content of the film to serve their own. This film is stirring and historically grounded. It does not apologize for America's past, but places it in context that shows the demonizations are unfounded and unreasonable. It tells the story that is often hidden by Academia of today, who relentlessly push a narrative that paints America as a bad actor, and conceals or ignores the truths that put the lie to this narrative - a truth that an honest person can see all around them. The narrative is what has turned this great country into the bad actor that has empowered the bad actors within itself. This film exposes the truth that we might right the course of our troubled ship.

I tried to watch these movies after seeing the thrashing they took (everywhere) online. Looking at these movies as apolitically as possible, all I can say is Dinesh D'Souza is, without mincing words, a *hack*. He makes arguments that are illogical (ex. political parties never change stances/views) or laughable (ex. slavery is prominent in the Democratic Party) in a boldfaced attempt to manipulate his audience. Please, please respect yourself and avoid this movie, regardless of party affiliation.
