About this movie

The gospel message of "Christ crucified" has always been offensive. In our culture it is common for preachers to soften the offense of the cross, and the attributes of God that are displayed in the person of work of Jesus Christ. "American Gospel: Christ Crucified" explores how the paths of post-modernism and progressive Christianity lead to a different gospel, and a god created in our own image.

Don't watch this movie unless you know the gospel as found in the Bible. If you don't know the truth you will be confused, the movie goes back and forth with opinions from both sides of the argument constantly. If you don't know the truth you will be confused, the new Christian is not ready for this film.

this film has encouraged me to really start reading the bible for myself, and not rely solely on other preachers/teachers for teaching. Let the text speak for itself, carry no quarry or presupposition. Christ is the Son of God

A clear and thorough presentation of the Christian Gospel. There are some great theologians quoted throughout the movie and it brought to light a lot of mainstream teachers who are clearly teaching falsehoods. I highly recommend it.
