I grew up in the 1980s and I only knew about Annette funicello and Frankie Avalon through TV commercials, it was not until this movie came out that I had heard in the years to come that they were involved in making Beach surfer movies in the 1960s. A fun family beach surfing movie to watch.

☆This is my all time favorite movie! The music plays a big part in the fact its my favorite movie. I remember jumping up & down on the bed while singing & dancing when I was a kid every time a song came on.this movie has such great songs.☆

When I was a boy, in the '60's, I watched the 'Beach' movie's, (even though they were 'corny' to me), because I had a huge crush on Annette since the 'Mickey Mouse club. When I was 30 something, this movie came out, & I loved watching the (mostly) original cast spoof their own performances and genre. An added bonus; cameos from other '60's sitcom stars, especially Bob Denver & Alan Hale, (Gilligan & the captain), Beach boys, ect.
