Geez i love this movie. Watched it probably 12 times ! Has the coolest spaceships ever, with the most amazing weaponry. And when the weapons are charging up, they really make u feel it !! Not the best acting in the world, but i can forgive that. Actually quite realistic with how aliens would come to take over earth, having bases here underwater from ages ago, setting up communications etc, a recon trip. Great soundtrack to, the music really amps up the action !!

Just cause you haven't seen it and just cause its has the name battle ship doesn't mean you hate it.you need to watch it before you hate it.you are given the other people bad thoughts about watching this awesome movie

Not sure how this has so many positive reviews. This is AWFUL, acting AND story are bad and has no redeemable qualities (even special effects are just okay). I feel sorry for the actors in this, that they are tarnished by this film.
