Emma Brody was blinded as a child. Now, a corneal transplant returns the gift of sight. She can see her best friend Candice (Laurie Metcalf). She can see all beauty of Chicago. And she can see the face of the man who murdered her neighbor... Or can she? Sometimes Emma's (Madeleine Stowe) mind doesn't register a visual image until a day later.
