The true story of cocaine dealer George Jung, who worked for reputed drug kingpin Carlos Escobar, and is blamed for single handedly importing cocaine into the USA in the 1970's. Specifically, it is based upon the book, Blow: How a Small-Town Boy Made $100 Million with the Medellin Cocaine Cartel and Lost it All, by Bruce Porter. George Jung is currently serving a 15 year sentence. It's the 1970's, and George Jung (Depp) is a drug dealer who is involved with the import and popularity of cocaine, which soon went from obscurity to drug of choice of the rich and famous.
