About this movie

Former Government physicist Bob Lazar made headlines world-wide in 1989 when he came forward with his account of reverse-engineering an alien spacecraft for the US Military. The reason the public even knows the name Area 51 is because Lazar came forward about the work he did at the formerly secret military base. His testimony remains the most controversial and important UFO story of all time. This film intimately chronicles the challenges and travails of a cosmic whistleblower. Burdened with a revolutionary secret, he had to choose between his oath to his country or his conscience. Corbell’s film will explore Lazar’s groundbreaking claims and the devastating impact it has had on his life over the course of the last thirty years, including rare and never before revealed footage guaranteed to alter the landscape of the debate. He blew the whistle, shocked the world, then went silent - until now.

After what I felt was a complete waste of $5.99 to rent Jeremy Corbell's regurgitative documentary on Skinwalker Ranch... I hesitantly purchased this. I'm glad I did, as the more detailed explanations by BL are fascinating. But, more compelling, was the steadfast and consistent way he relays his experiences 30 years later. Absolutely amazing, and for anyone claiming there isn't any evidence to back up his fantastical story... you haven't paid close enough attention. Quite possibly the most important testimony relating to this subject matter I've ever heard. Edit: **Slight SPOILER** We could have done without the dramatized bit in the backyard re: the 115 though.

There's an undeniable focused veracity and feeling of credibility here that's missing from the frankly crazed and unfocused UFO documentary Beyond Majestic (2019), so Bob Lazar: Area 51 & Flying Saucers (2018) is a breath of fresh air in comparison. Watching and listening to Robert Lazar speak with utter conviction about his experiences at the "Gloom Lake Facility" and about Element 115, which we now can verify is an actual newly discovered element is an enlightening watch.
