From acclaimed writer, producer and restauranteur Eddie Huang comes his directorial debut Boogie, the coming-of-age story of Alfred "Boogie" Chin, a basketball phenom living in Queens, New York, who dreams of one day playing in the NBA. While his parents pressure him to focus on earning a scholarship to an elite college, Boogie must find a way to navigate a new girlfriend, high school, on-court rivals and the burden of expectation.

You can tell amateurs directed this. I turned it off a qtr of the way. Im shocked it's not anything that I predicted it to be. It's all over the place and they keep talking Chinese then English. It's like they patched different scenes. Doesn't have any order and the acting is horrible. The roles that they act in is terrible and cheesy.

Who the hell going to pay $20 for a low rating movie? Nobody. This movie been out now for awhile no way people would still be going to a theater to see this still. Garbage

This movie was amazing! The ending was one of the worst endings I Jane ever experienced and so wide open! The ending ruined the whole movie.. kinda idk super frustrating
