Born Racer is must watch for any racing fan (casual or die-hard) as well as anyone who loves day in the life documentaries. This documentary showcases an amazing, in-depth look at this generation's greatest INDYCAR driver, Scott Dixon, throughout the 2017 season. Scott Dixon just wrapped up the 2018 INDYCAR title to make him a 5-time INDYCAR champion as well as an Indy 500 winner. This film brings top notch cinematography to the INDYCAR paddock for the first time since 1997's IMAX feature film, Super Speedway. Featuring not only Scott Dixon, but also legends such as Dario Franchittii, Mike Hull, Chip Ganassi & the gorgeous Emma Davies Dixon, this film will not disappoint.

I can't say exactly why I am an Indycar fan, even after 50 years of watching the sport. However, I can tell you why I am a Scott Dixon fan after following his career since he arrived in the US and having the luck to get to know people who are on the team. He is an incredible driver, who didn't only bust his tail to get into the game but continues to work hard to get better every week. He's a dedicated husband and father to Emma and his beautiful daughters. And if you were to be so lucky to get a chance to congratulate him on winning the championship as I have, you'd understand what makes him the man that he is. Before he's done shaking your hand, he's already crediting his team and telling you how gratifying it is to win a championship because his competitors are so good, too. You see examples of the respect he has for them, and they for him. Scott exemplifies the true essence of sportsmanship. The utter candor of everyone involved is refreshing and allows the movie to convey very accurately the experience of the Indycar paddock. I can't recommend this any more highly.
