Dave is a professional internet troll, making a living by spreading lies and stirring chaos online. He thrives behind the safety of his screen, never letting anyone get too close. Candace works at a blood lab, dealing with a demanding, borderline unhinged boss who makes her life miserable. Exhausted and frustrated, she turns to the internet for an escape. When Dave and Candace cross paths online, their conversations start as sarcastic banter but quickly turn into something deeper. As their connection grows, they struggle with the reality that it’s hard to truly embrace someone when you’re always keeping them at arm’s length. Can Dave overcome his need to push people away? Can Candace find the courage to trust? Or will their walls be too high to break down, leaving them stuck in their lonely worlds, yearning for something just out of reach?
