A pair of ten-year-olds find an abandoned cop car in a field. When they take it for a joyride, it seems like they could kill themselves at any moment. But things only get worse when the small town sheriff goes looking for his missing car. The kids find themselves in the center of a deadly game of cat and mouse they don’t understand and the only way out is to go as fast as their cop car can take them. I am so sad I watched this bad, zero budget, sick movie. Should of turned it off at the begin when the kids swore pointlessly for 20 minutes and the majority of the move took place in a feild. I don't even know what appealed to a famous actor when his read this script or how parents could be proud of their kids to play such a horrible role!

While Cop Car excels in building tension and delivering a suspenseful narrative, some viewers might find the storyline somewhat thin, as it focuses more on mood and atmosphere than on deep character development or intricate plot twists. However, the film’s efficiency in conveying suspense and its tight, well-executed plot make up for any perceived lack of depth.

Part right-of-passage boyhood adventure, and part thriller with mature themes. The writers and child actors captured adolescent thinking almost perfectly in its script. It took me back to my own childhood when my friends and I got into (and caused) all kinds of our own trouble. This is no B movie. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!
