I randomly found the predecessor, Night Watch, at Blockbuster & decided to give it a go. It was an interesting take on the supernatural world and was interesting to see a story set in Moscow instead of NYC or LA. Day Watch continues the adventures of Anton & the rest of the Others introduced in Night Watch. I highly enjoyed both and recommend watching them, on the condition that you have not yet read any of the series these two movies were based on. After discovering these were based on books (and not just some bizarre movies) I read the books (FYI all 6 are in Play Books if your interested when your done here) and later got in the mood to re-watch the movies... The cliche is defiantly true here, the books are much better than the movies. Watching them after having read the books I would drop my rating from 8.5-9/10 to a 6.5-7/10.

Would be nice to listen in English language. Not so distracts from mood in film. Subtitles are okay in some foreign films but this one it looses much and a lot was lost in the very poor translation, very poor. Mic Cl;-)~ Ririe, Idaho USA

This was a great movie I don't know what the hell he's talking about Lost in Translation because there's an English version of the movie so mister I don't know how to search the internet for English word versions of a movie certainly not be on the internet reviewing movies for other people. He was able to pull off a hat trick screwing up one didn't know how to find the right version of a movie 2 finish it about movies wants to be a Critic. Bad idea we have little place in hell 4 critics
