Dewitt & Maria What a charming little movie! It's really a coming of age story. Dewitt Fullbean is a computer genius but a social dunce. He holes up in his office and home working on a computer program that will supposedly help guys relate to girls. There couldn't be a less qualified programmer in the world for this task than Dewitt. Maria passes to and fro in his apartment building. He is smitten but fearful. Their parents decide to pair them up and Dewitt begins his discovery of this thing humans call a relationship. Jeremie Loncka shows great range as the awkward Dewitt who becomes a Dewitt smooth enough to be worthy of the admirable Maria.. Dylan Diehl is a Maria worth all Dewitt's effort. Olivia Dawn York is outstanding as Maria's little sister, Monica. And Dave Novak makes his rom com debut as Maria's dad, Tony the plumber. The ending scene is worth the price of admission including a cameo appearance by Terry Moore for you nostalgia types.
