Ghostbusters makes its long-awaited return with Director Paul Feig's unique and hilarious take on the classic, supernatural comedy, led by the freshest minds in comedy today, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. Together they team-up to save Manhattan from a sudden invasion of spirits, spooks and slime that engulfs the city. Ratings and reviews

Mixed bag. Great ghost designs and effects! Every woman in the cast makes perfect sense to cast in an ensemble comedy. Somehow it just isn't as funny as it should be. People really hate on it and thats probably not deserved. But it comes down to not being what people expected. Even the marketing giving the impression that it takes place in the same world as the old movies when its definitely a reboot.

I fell prey to the bashing of this and the woke stuff around this movie. I finally watched it with my son and we had a ball. I laughed out loud many times and it was alot of fun. This movie really does not deserve all the hate it received. Hemsworth, btw, is funny as hell in this.

I thought this was a great follow up to the originals. It even suffers the same third act failure that Ghostbusters 2 suffered. I watch it all the time and it makes me laugh.
