About this movie

A true motion picture phenomenon, this triumphant story was nominated for 9 Academy Awards® -- winning Oscars for Robin Williams (Best Supporting Actor) and hot newcomers Matt Damon and Ben Affleck (Best Original Screenplay). The most brilliant mind at America's top university isn't a student ... he's the kid who cleans the floors! Will Hunting (Damon) is a headstrong, working-class genius who's failing the lessons of life. After one too many run-ins with the law, Will's last chance is a psychology professor (Williams), who might be the only man who can reach him! With acclaimed performances from Academy Award®- nominee Minnie Driver (GROSSE POINTE BLANK) and Ben Affleck (ARMAGEDDON) -- you'll find GOOD WILL HUNTING a powerful and unforgettable movie experience!

A compelling story of how deep rooted conditions can affected our lives and paralyze our abilities to advance. Unlocking those psychological doors in our minds, that hold us back, was creatively played out in this heartrending movie. This is a must see movie especially if you like GREAT endings built on human triumphs. A definite tear jerker.

What a humane and considered way to represent a theme that affects so many of us . People are mistreated and hurt and that stays with you for life ,maybe you have exceptional qualities and talents and act different than other people but inside you are special .Willams +Damon interpretations were superb .if only we developed tolerance ,compassion ,prudence and acceptance this would be a better world .DO MISS THIS MOVIE YOU WILL LOVE IT !!!

It takes a titan to throw down a titan.. with wonderful performances from Matt Damon & Robin Williams in this battle of wits. Sean (Willams), a college professor & psychologist is brought in to counsel boy genius Will (Damon), who had a rough up bringing and dark past much like Sean. In the movie Will learns the deeper meanings of friendship, love and most importantly trust, which he discovers can't be learned by reading books. Written by Matt Damon, & Ben Afleck this movie delivers!
