I really liked this movie, I thought it was going to be a little bit more scarier but, all in all was a cool film . Its a fake family who poses to be beautiful, the daughter kills a crow and takes it's egg in to raise, the egg grows into something weird and monstrous and somehow mutates into the girl. More science fiction/horror. Weird but, worth a watch for the price.

The Hatching was very beautiful written like all foreign films. You see the first of the film where the family looks so happy but really its a act. The girl hatches a egg the egg transforms into evil 😈and kills but it loves the girl. The egg becomes somehow a transformation of the girl. The movie is excellent from beginning to end.

Disturbing, thoughtful horror movie. Like Romero, Rautsi and Bergholm know how every good horror monster contains a metaphor. And they use it with precision, to chilling precision. The movie is suspenseful, visual, and really worth a watch. It's in Finnish, but i found the option for subtitles next to settings, don't let that stop you.
