This is an insightful film. Yes the main character is unlikeable but this is an honest portrayal of how love works, striking anytime and anywhere, regardless of circumstance. It is fundamentally about connecting with the right person and not succumbing to society pressures of settling for anything. I have been in the position of Lila a number of times, and I applaud the directors for an amusing and honest portrayal of a difficult subject.

I didn't know I even had a favorite chick flick until i saw this movie. Saw it a second time right when it ended. Perfect acting, and unique story line.

This movie soon became a classic... I can't remember how many times I've seen it. Just a great comedy! I quote many of the lines... It's so underrated. It now has a cult following.
