Arnold and his class win a service trip to San Lorenzo. But when their trip takes a turn for the worst, their only hope of getting home may be retracing the dangerous path that led to Arnold's parents' disappearance.

This movie seems to drift from the dea of realism, I did not like how there was a supernatural elements. But to be fair it was hinted at a episode The Journal. I also did not like the new character design, especially Arnold and Helga's. I want to believe that this show took place ag the 90's, but we see Rhonda with a smart phone. I did not like that. But despite these things, I laughed so hard. It was fun. But Arnold's love reveal to Helga could have been better.

The animation and voice acting was on point (except for Arnold), but otherwise, it was disappointing. I grew up with Hey, Arnold! And it's my absolute favorite Nicktoon. The wrirers should have had the 90's kids in mind when making this one. It was super predictable, like to childish standards, and it lacked the overall feel of the show. They didn't even play the opening theme. Would not recommend to fans of the show.

As a fan of the original series I loved the movie and found it to be great resolution that we've been looking for. It's not perfect and some of the voices and animation could be better but the acting is very good in general and its filled with twists, funny moments, and things that fans have been dying to see which were done beautifully.
