This is a good movie. We get to see Daniel Radcliffe in an adult role & he does great as usual. Our kids watched him growing up w them in the Harry Potter films & now they see him grown. My 18 yr old nephew did fuss about the difference between the film & book. He said the film was good stand alone, but not in comparison to the book.

I don't know exactly how to describe the movie. There was comedy one moment and then it became serious, like it was unsure which direction it wanted to go. Most of the comedy was cringe-worthy, where I almost felt forced to fast-forward through the scene. I recommend people to watch it without expecting anything great like Daniels other great acting films.

I enjoyed this movie up until the end. Then it just got weird(er). But still it's worth a rent, especially if you really like Daniel Radcliffe as an actor and want to see him do stuff outside fo HP.
