If you live in rural Britain as I do, you'll consider this film more of a gritty documentary than a comedy. Simon Pegg's bemused London policeman finds that village life starts resembling a Hollywood action film in this deadpan comedy thriller. Which features a great turn from classical thespian (and former James Bond) Timothy Dalton, who gleefully chews the scenery as a psychopathic supermarket manager who feels he should be the Lord of the Manor.
