It's a great movie. Great to see the Kiwis doing a film about their own country and their own people -- and using their own stars. Great music too. Starts off a little slow but once it gets moving it doesn't slow down. Only problem I'd say, about the Google Play version is that there are no subtitles for the hard of hearing. All movies should have subtitles for the deaf or hard of hearing.

I loved this movie and so did my 10 year old and my 18 year old son it one of those great movies that will have you laughing one minute and then crying the next and then back to laughing if your after a wonderful movie that all the family can watch than this it the one to get. We just love the young actor in this movie.

Independent New Zealand film, well written, poignant and funny in parts. You'll go through the full gamut of emotions but finish with a smile. Sam Neil as always is brilliant and Julian as Ricky, he's great. Best film I've seen in ages.
