As the world searches for a cure to a disastrous virus, a scientist and park scout venture deep in the forest for a routine equipment run. Through the night, their journey becomes a terrifying voyage through the earth of darkness, the forest coming to life around them.

A masterful blend of folklore and science, creating a unique and tense horror that had me on the edge of my seat. Includes some gratuitous gore so squeamish viewers beware. Some basic knowledge of Mycology can increase your enjoyment of the film massively which is probably a downfall of the film but on a personal level I loved it.
