Absolutely loved what they did with this - went in to it worried they were going to try and recycle a classic, but they made it in to it's own thing that still feels like a natural progression of the original. Casting is brilliant, with all parts playing to each actor's strengths and a seemingly very strong chemistry on screen. So many moments that are incredibly funny and leave you looking forward to them on the re-watch! If you haven't seen the original then this would also hold up as a standalone, there will just be a few elements of the story that won't mean much to you, but I doubt it would ruin the overall feel of the film.

Fantastic film - even better in 3D! Dwayne Johnson always puts his all into any role he takes. There's a whole load of laughing in this. Jack Black is frighteningly good at being a teenage, self indulgent girl. Kevin Hart's character was hilarious the whole way through. I didn't realise I had films with Karen Gillan in, but it was a complete surprise to learn she was "Nebula" in Guardian's of the Galaxy! I guess she's hard to notice when she's not pained blue. The only thing I didn't like was the character Spencer outside the game. His fear of everything really wasn't brought out well.

Some funny bits..mostly from jack black... kevin heart and the rock play
the same characters they play in every movie. If youve seen the original,
you may find it offensive they named this movie "jumanji". Not worth it and
just another churned out piece of s**t.
