Awful film. If this was meant to be a child friendly film, Disney repeatedly fails to reach their targets. I can make out sexual innuendo in multiple Disney films, if you don't know what I mean I am talking about the part when Dwayne Johnson gets impaled and he falls off a cliff (something like that). Also the bit when the Spaniards attack innocent Natives in the village, I think the use of rock music wasn't needed, I'd say that sort of music should be used in zombie films, not a "family film".

OK, yes it is reminiscent of Pirates of the Caribbean and also The Mummy, but it's also a brilliant, gung-ho, classic family yarn. Full of one liners, OTT set pieces and great effects, I loved it! Just a great popcorn movie with never a dull moment!

You get the feeling that they wanted it to be like the Mummy or Pirates of the Caribbean (similar theme and ideas reused), you'll even have moments when you ask yourself "have I seen this film before?" Blunt & Johnson do what they can but they're working with a poor and unimaginative script that never seems to know where it's going or how it will end.
