15-year-old Brandon longs for a pair of the freshest sneakers that money can buy to help him escape the reality of being poor and picked on by everyone. Working hard to get them, he soon finds that the titular shoes have instead made him a target after they are promptly snatched by a local hood. Brandon and his two best friends embark on a dangerous and exciting journey where nothing is as simple as it seems in this unique and memorable coming-of-age story. this movie was incredible, it hit all the rite emotions,I wish it was longer,Movies like this should be selling out movie theaters ,it was very epic and i am most grateful to be able to say I witnessed this,thank you for making this for the world to view,if there is every a way I could vote and help get this a Oscar I will..just tag me....#salute #respect

Throughout the whole entire movie I had anxiety and jahking guillory(brandon) Christopher meyer(rico) and Christopher j Wallace(fat albert) were all great actors!!! I even cried while watching the movie.

This movie was lit, even though i never got my shoes tooken when i used to live in the bay area probably because i was a 4th grader then i moved to another state going into my 5th grade year that irrelevant the movie was still lit asf
