Martial arts sensation Tiger Chen (Man of Tai Chi) stars in this gripping, sci-fi action-adventure filled with thrilling stunts and special effects. A hostile alien race has overtaken the Earth and humankind is under attack. While plotting a way to defeat the invaders, a general is accidentally sent back in time. Now the fate of humanity depends on one man as he fights against forces in the past in order to defend the future.

Ratings and reviews

While entertaining in its own way...what did I just watch? There are so many horribly obvious and gaping plot holes (for one..time doesn't work like that..?), some terrible CG from what I can assume was from the 80s, and a whole lot of horrendous acting. The fight scenes were fairly good though (minus the CG scenes). I'd give it a 1 star...but I actually finished it so I feel like it deserves at least a 2 I guess.
