This is a favorite despite weird Lolita undertones. Action sequences are fabulous and you definitely root for Leon. Many well known actors and Gary Oldman is his typical freak we love lol. For me, this is one of Portman's best performances. Allegedly get parents were clueless to Lolita aspects of film, but I don't see how that's possible. Anyway, DEFINITELY worthy of your attention

A truly unforgettable masterpiece, and a touching film. With such a perfect cast of the Underrated Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, Gary Oldman, and so many others, it literally created a film that was perfect with such a strong emotional, action-packed storyline and what a soundtrack. Honestly, one of the very few films, that you can truly say has no flaws, and one that everyone can agree is perfect. With such a low budget to work with, created a true masterpiece, A film, that'll never be forgotten

Welp..the first half of thi movie was Great...the guy who stars in the the lead is "excellent" throughout..totally believable. !!! but then it morphed. into a showcase, focusing on the beatiful young lady who co-starred in the film, she was great...but not believable in this incredibly tuff role to pull off.... totally. mortgaging. the integrity of the film......(and i'm sure she'll succeed in Hollywood in future roles .) but this director and screenwriter were "all over the board " with this one..it was one part " The Godfather"....one part "Bonney and Clyde "...one part "Pretty Woman "...one part "Rambo "..and the ending was totally stolen from a Bill Murray movie where he robs a bank at the beginning dressed as a clown...i'm going back to Clint Eastwood flicks.
