Maybe I'm a little biased, because most of the boat chase scene, if not all of it, was filmed in a little town about 40 minutes northeast of New Orleans, that's been my home for most of my life. But aside from that, one of the most impressive things about ALL Bond movies, older ones in particular, is that they took great pride in not using trick photography or computer graphics, to substitute anything they could actually recreate. ** MINOR SPOILER ALERT HERE ** A perfect example would be the scene where he runs across the crocodile's heads to escape the little island. A stunt man REALLY did that!! I'm not kidding one little bit! Lol, seriously, search the web for it. The outtakes are out there somewhere. I've seen them. Just search for something like, "james bond live and let die croc hop scene outtakes." And if that doesn't find it, just keep trying different variations. I promise it will be worth the effort, lol. Also, some may find the humor kind of corny, judging with today's standards, but I loved it! And it cracks me up everytime I watch it. I've also never found any chase sequences too long or mundane, but that's me. They are actually my favorite parts of Bond movies, because to the way he eventually loses some of the people chasing him. Lol, he'll use a ramp to jump over something, and his pursuers will attempt to do the same thing... but they always seem to forget- they're not James Bond! This was also my late mom's favorite James Bond that Roger Moore was in. And having lived down here near New Orleans, and in New Orleans for her whole life too, whenever this movie would come on she always made sure to say how well they represented the culture down here. One thing's for sure. They sure don't make movies like they used to... If you've still never seen this before, and you're on the fence about watching it though, you should definitely give it a try. I mean, it's a movie about a man with a freaking license to kill! How awesome is that?! Wouldn't you like a license to kill? Lol!

Despite the numerous puns, dragged on boat chase, and less than spectacular death for the villain, Kananga, Live And Let Die's outlandish story of voodoo and characters is what made me love the film and Roger Moore (not to mention Paul and Linda McCartney's rockin' Live And Let Die).

I have to say, that this film is one of my favourite's out of Roger's seven wonderful Bond films! ‘Live And Let Die' had the most intriguing storyline and with Roger as the new James Bond what could go wrong! Roger Moore was and still is the best ever Bond! :-) His sense of humour was brilliant!
