First of all, I'm not a person who likes watching movies a second time unless it's been long enough for me to forget and feel like it's the first time. But this movie, the music, the excellent visuals of Tokyo along with the amazing acting and unexpected magic between Scarlett and Bill is masterful and meant to be. This movie caught me off guard as just another movie but I quickly connected with Murray and Johansen's characters as they are both in a relationship but truly lonely.

Classic older settled and comfotable in his own skin man; young girl ignored by her young career focused husband. Perfectly portrayed/acted by Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. Both living in a different culture and drawn together by their American "sameness" and their individual individual emotional needs . One of the best movies ever where each of us writes the ending we envision, based on where we are in our lives.
