This movie is quite funny and I enjoyed many of the actors including Hugh Grant. I was not happy with how two of the couples were left unresolved. One made her psycho, institutionalized brother more important than the guy who was obviously on love with her. She could still care for her brother and give the other guy some love too! The other is a lady & her hubby who she sees about to have an affair. At the end they are not back in love but disgruntled and out of sorts!

Are you kidding me, I've heard people raving about this movie for the last 20 years and this is what it actually was? A Monica Lewinksy analogue gets fat shamed and the prime minister of england wants to bang her in the first 10 minutes? And THIS is the love-based christmas movie that's been hyped up? God, just... don't waste your time or money. Written by a man who just has the I-want-to-bang-my-secretary-or-house-cleaner-but-it's-ok-because-she-wants-it power fantasy

This movie turned me into a woman. And then gay. And even as a lesbian, I still hated this heaping pile of a movie. If you make your significant other watch this, that technically counts as domestic abuse.
