Lucky calls Checkoway a friend but I get the sense that Laura Checkoway took advantage of her for personal or business gain and conveniently uses the guise of 'friendship' to justify the action. The movie is all over the Internet selling at $10 a pop and there's a book? Compensate the poor Lucky.
