With the exclusion of the Porter's levity, the film is very very stoic and very very melancholy. It's technically proficient, but the slow assault of moodiness just makes it clear why Shakespeare included the Porter in the original play.

The mumbliest Shakespeare I have heard + too much arty farty cinematography = slow movie.... not as slow as valhalla rising, but slower than paint drying. Not my cup of tea.

Good cast, love Fassbender, sadly he couldn't save it. It was so tedious. So disappointed.
