"Meanwhile, in another universe…” In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing's most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures...if they can all survive a deadly present.

cheesey superhero movie as cheesey superhero movies go. soundtrack makes me think this movie is really for 13 year old girls. on the other hand; I think Taylor Swifts Eras Tour movie serves that purpose already. nice touch with having her sit by an opal shaded window thinking about what's next. Doesn't at all remind of you of Dr Strange doing the same thing at the end of his 2016 movie. Putting Dakota in a stylish Madame Web gear only works with glasses and a floating chair.

Not great... some of the action was decent and the story line was also okay but the ending was soooo lame. Also, it'd have been nice, since they made her character an EMT, if they'd at least done some basic research on what a good/ normal O2 (oxygen saturation) was. 89 is not "fine/ normal". The average healthy adult is 96 or above. Trust, this is going to annoy all the healthcare workers.

A very slow movie. Based on the trailer I was expecting an action adventure. It was in fact mostly character building and only small doses of action with most of it occurring in the last 7 minutes of the movie. Not something I'm likely to see again, unless I use it to fall asleep.
