An incredible intersectional exploration of class, sexuality and race issues. Characters no matter big and small share in incredibly personal and intimate moments. This movie doesn't deal in superlatives or scandal, only raw, human emotion in the midst of the quagmire of life.

I personally was extremely disappointed in this movie. Maybe I set my expectations too high. Though it had some touching moments it could have been a lot better. Watch it for free on Netflix, it's not worth paying for. Just my personal opinion though!

This film is perfect in every way; concept, script, casting, cinematography, soundtrack, acting, direction, and editing all come together flawlessly to make a film that's both politically important and emotionally resonant. It's best to see it in the theatre, but if you can't, then see it any way you're able. Oh, and bring tissues.
