McKenzie (Zoë Ventoura), a broken FBI agent who's been suspended from her job and is struggling with the loss of her mother, travels to Lake Mervielle, the small mountain town she used to visit as a child. Upon arrival, she is befriended by Freddie (Cale Ferrin), a young boy with special needs who possesses the extraordinary gift of healing others through his unbroken spirit and unique outlook on life. Though McKenzie is hurting, she begins to see through Freddie's eyes as the puzzle pieces fall into place when she meets Samantha (Kayla Radomski), Freddie's mother. McKenzie and Samantha develop an unexpected relationship that turns fiercely passionate and intimate. When Vivienne (Harley Jane Kozak), a former Congresswoman with roots established in Lake Mervielle, threatens to expose McKenzie's past, will Freddie and Samantha be able to keep the family they always dreamed of? A Beautiful tribute to the people who have endured this journey. I loved the mind and the heart, of the young boy freddie, and how he understood the hearts, and souls of human beings. Freddie he is the crown jewel of this movie. The scenery, was absolutely breath taking, and enjoyable to see, it really added to tempo, and feelings involved. The building relationship between the ladies, always most captivating, intense, and Beautiful. There's nothing better then to see the love and trust between two women. All characters, had their own interesting and unique quality, each of them, having their own contribution. Truths, came out, old wounds, healed. I loved this beautiful movie, it reveals the great humanity that we need so much more of. Simply Amazing 💖💯🏆

Sensual, beautiful , and very rewatchable. The casting is brilliant, and all the dancing parts ( the blue dance especially) are amazing to watch. Definitely one of my favorite lesbian movies😘

Beautiful if not typical. The lesbian love story, though very much in the forefront of this touching masterpiece, seems less important than the love that developes between a woman who has lost her way, and an impared child who opens her up to love in more ways than one. Truly breath taking!!!!
